Special Occasion Separates is one of several local Chicago designers that will be featured at the Designers of Chicago Shop at the 1st floor arcade of Macy's on State Street. S.O.S. will introduce one-of-a-kind hand painted skirts created exclusively for Macy's, great for fall pairings with boots and sweaters and equally perfect for more formal occasions. Shop opens September 9th and will remain open through the Holidays.

Special Occasion Separates will feature bridesmaid and one-of-a-kind special occasion attire in the closing scene of this year's 80th Annual Fashion Show put on by the Women's Board of Rush University's Medical Center. S.O.S. is excited to represent Macy's in Fashion Rhythms and to announce our collaboration with our friend and fashion photographer, Stan Malinowski, in showcasing his Chicago photography screen printed on select garments that will be worn by notable Chicagoans modeling as part of Fascinating Rhythms.

Macy's will showcase the Best of Chicago Fashion Show for several of the Chicago-area designers chosen to participate in the Designers of Chicago Shop as part of Fashion Focus Chicago. The fashion show is complimentary admission and is scheduled to take place at 6 PM on Wednesday, September 27th at the Rooftop Terrace at Millenium Park.

Brides and one guest can register to visit various Oak Street bridal vendors, like Special Occasion Separates by Scarlet Designs. The walk Begins at The Esquire Theater at 58 East Oak Street, and all brides-to-be will also receive luxury tote bags filled with extraordinary gifts.
