If you are unable to visit one of our retail store locations, Special Occasion Separates will work with you to

• Taking Measurements
• Determining your size from the S.O.S. Size Chart

Alterations may still be necessary and are the responsibility of the customer once the garments have been delivered. Special Occasion Separates does not offer alteration services and alterations are not included in the price of the garments.

TAKING MEASUREMENTS

Special Occasion Separates recommends that you have your measurements taken by a professional seamstress or tailor. If you decide to take your own measurements, following these guidelines will ensure the best fit.

• Always measure over undergarments for accuracy.
• Hold the tape measure close to the body but not too tight. Allow a finger's width between the tape measure and the body.

BUST:	Measure the fullest point of the bust. This is not the bras size.
WAIST:	Measure the natural waistline or the narrowest part of the waist (usually above the belly button). Be comfortable and natural.
HIPS:	Measure the fullest part of the hips.
OUTERSEAM:	Measure the distance from the natural waistline down to the bottom of the heel (in bare feet).

S.O.S. SIZE CHART

Special Occasion Separates are made to standard sizes. Please use the S.O.S. Size Chart to determine your correct S.O.S. size. These measurements and sizes are made to S.O.S. standards and may not match your size in other clothing labels.

If your measurements fall between standard sizes, S.O.S. recommends that you order the larger size as garments are easier to take in than to let out.

MATERNITY

If you will be pregnant and are ordering a garment to fit you several months out, S.O.S. offers several different options.

• Tops – S.O.S. offers a maternity bodice that can be combined with any of the S.O.S. Bust Styles. The size ordered should be determined based on the estimated bust size at the time that you expect to wear the garment. It is better to overestimate and order a larger size as garments are easier to take in than to let out, particularly since the silks and other fabrics used by S.O.S. do not stretch.
• Skirts – S.O.S. offers 2 skirts styles that can be worn before, during and after pregnancy. Both the W710 Wrap Skirt and W711 A-Line Skirt fit multiple sizes and can be worn on the hips during pregnancy.
• Delay the Order – It is possible to wait until 4-6 weeks before the needed delivery date to order an ensemble. Please be advised that there is a RUSH Charge for ordering an ensemble 4 to 6 weeks before the Requested Delivery Date.
• Customization - If you are concerned about estimating your size at the time of the wedding, it is always possible to wait until closer to the date that you plan to wear the garment. S.O.S. can sell any of the fabrics that we offer if you prefer to have a custom garment made by your own seamstress or tailor.
